The study resolves a residential quarter of the semi-enclosed community in a rural locality close to Bratislava. The assignment is to create the housing complex of family houses with high standard parameters and an integral area solution. The vision of the client is to utilize the houses for company employees, but the complex needs to be treated in a real commercial mode. The target is to create a long term sustainable environment suitable for family life, self-supporting and attractive.
The project presents a homogenous structure of individual houses assembled from several layers (houses, roads, greenery, estates, terrain embankments, facilities etc). We are researching their interactivity by putting the layers onto each other. This way of composition enables us to define the ideal parameters for each of the layers and to adjust them to the higher quality of the whole. The complex may be adapted this way to implementation of the changes in specific layers without detriment to the quality of the whole. We consider as the resource the program resulting gradually from the cooperation with the client. Among the resulting parameters there were: the dimensions of the houses and the land in accordance with the real market situation; quality parameters such as the community, privacy, and crudeness of the site – architecture… The chosen strategy is consistent with this goal and reflects the openness of the aim.
