about

The existing building faces Notting Hill rd., became from 70's, projected by Sramek with - one of the finest examples of CS brutalism – special we liked the pure fine concrete combined with frame-less gig windows on strange geometry – more at administrative building... Our ambition was not lower: we decided to add very sophisticated structure constructed of cubes. This concept allows very flexibile structure, which doesn't want to compete the original house – it would always stay an additional thing, or individual placed to the backyard, connected just with the brige-like neck. On the other side it is very selfidentific. It consists from the cube modules of 4,5 x 4,5 x 4,5 meters, steel frame coonstruction with gentle semi – polyurethan and semi – glazed overall skin.
